House Observatory in Punta Aderci

Punta Aderci is the middle of a long stretch of coastline with particular environmental importance, characterized by a jump of altitude of 30 meters behind the beach, a natural terrace on the sea.

The House Observatory is a center for monitoring the nature of the Natural Reserve. A small building which provide a temporary stay for six researchers who do control functions, detection and study.
From the street you will first see the tower observatory that allows the view of the sea and the surrounding landscape.
The building consists of two blocks, which differ in form and function, they are whites opposed to the surrounding nature.
The block of the laboratory and common areas on the highest, a telescope in which the internal space look towards and the sea comes in the building.
The other block, the one of the rooms, rests on a slope in between the hill and the sea. The hill enters from the windows in the corridors and rooms are open to the sea.
