Bovisa integrated activities core

In the structure of the city of Milan, Bovisa district is part of an intermediate zone between city center and periphery, in a larger structural grid formed by rail system, which has structural nodes and therefore intersections in the vicinity of the road network that assumed in the most consolidated a ring configuration.
The feature that has most marked the actual appearance of this area is the presence of the passage of the railway.
The railway area is fragmented by barriers that form three separate zones: Bovisa, the area between the railroad and the two stations and Vilapizzone.
The axis between the two stations should have a key role in the reunification of the areas of Villapizzone and Bovisa.
Stations as centers of aggregation in response to fragmentation in the sector of cities analyzed, the role of the stations will be to mend themselves become parts of the city with several central functions and then support to the flow of of the users.
